Best Visualization Techniques for Manifestation
If you can see the vision, you have a direction.
In this blog article, you will discover the techniques that are right for you to bring that vision to fruition.
Define What You Want in Detail
Before you can begin to visualize, you have to define what you want. Be as detailed as possible about your vision. If you don’t think you know what you want, here are some journal prompts that can help you narrow down what you want.
Visualize a life for yourself in which you see yourself and put it in detail. Once you know what you are visualizing, you can put certain techniques into practice so that they can manifest in your life. Be sure to answer these questions in truth and depth. If you find the answers difficult, then sit in silence and let the answers come to you.
When I wake in the morning, what do I do that brings me happiness?
Where do I live that I am proud of?
What made me happy as a child? Is this still something I find joy in?
What kind of person/people do I want to be surrounded by?
What does a perfect day look like?
What are my hobbies? What is my job description?
What do I do when I want to celebrate?
Answer these questions without limitations. Remember that you can ask anything in Christ’s name and he will do it for you (John 14:13-14) however, you must always remember that it has to follow the will of God. Don’t be discouraged that the desire in your heart may not be fulfilled. God plants the desires in our hearts so that they can come to fruition. If you are unsure if your desire or vision is not what God wants for you, then pray that he can confirm or deny it for you. Ask God for a sign. Once you get specific with these questions, you can narrow your goal and see what it is you want out of life.
Write Yourself a Check
One of my favorite ways of having a vision is to create a physical form of it in front of me. Writing yourself a check is a visualization technique used to get you comfortable with what you may not have considered possible. Jim Carrey wrote himself a check for 10 million dollars and dated it in the future. He carried that check around with him in his wallet and the time came when he received a check for ten million dollars.
He knew that there would come a time when he would receive a check for 10 million dollars and believed that this was not just a desire, but a fact. The more he looked at the check, the less overwhelming the amount became.
Sometimes when we allow ourselves to dream big and follow the true desires of our hearts, we feel alarmed by how ‘impossible’ it may seem. It’s not impossible, we just have to get our minds adjusted to the pure fact that we can have what we say and the more we see it, the more we can believe it.
Create a Vision Board
A vision board can help to subconsciously align you with where you need to be and what you will attract. It can even change your behavior or physical form. In Genesis 30:39, Jacob placed spotted branches in front of the sheep when they ate. His promise from Laban (Rachael and Leah's father) was that he could have any of the cattle that were speckled and spotted. So, the sheep that saw this speckled and spotted branch every single day gave birth to speckled and spotted sheep.
Now, we are smarter than sheep, but this repetition of seeing the same thing can influence behavior you don't even realize. Participate in your own miracle by changing what you see around you. If you want to live in a clean and open area aside from your tight apartment with messy roommates, then put this on a vision board. This will come to pass in ways you didn't even think of.
Pray over your vision board often so that you are anointing it to manifest in the physical reality. It's in front of your face daily, so be sure to claim what you see.
Making a vision board is not difficult. You can create it from what you have around or try a vision board starter kit. Take a paper or board and place it in an area where you see it often. When I say my affirmations, I place them on paper right next to my bed so that it is the first thing I see when I wake up. As long as you can lay your eyes on it every day. You can even make multiple vision boards to put around the house.
Cut out pictures in magazines or print out pictures from your phone and place them on the board. Even in a magazine that doesn't fit your vision aesthetic, you can still cut out the letters or words to phrase what you want it to say. Personalize it for you and even draw out what you want. Arrange it in a way you find aesthetically pleasing so it can bring positive thoughts each time you see it.
Use Affirmations to Support Your Visualization
Affirmations and visualization go hand in hand. Use affirmations to accompany your visualization routine and watch how this will manifest in your life. The key to manifestation is the faith that you dare to dream and go for what you want. It is about encompassing everything inside of you to embody what you will bring from your mental imagery to your physical reality. It doesn't matter what people say around you; it matters how you feel about what you believe will happen.

Visualize Yourself Succeeding at Your Goal
What you see in your mind is going to happen in real life, and this has to be the basis for your belief. The more you visualize, the more you will have your desired outcome.
Create a mental image of you succeeding in your goal. Be as specific as possible by using details. Create the scenario in your mind with sensory input. Feel the feelings of success with specific questions such as what does it taste like, smell like, and sound like? Use the five senses to create as much detail as possible.

Let's use the example of going on your dream trip.
See yourself in the place of destination. What are you feeling at the moment? Do the clothes you wear feel light? Are they heavy? How does the view make you feel? Do you feel in awe?
Connect with yourself at this moment and allow yourself to know that this is coming to you in your physical form. It is already done and you are already achieving it. Play this mental rehearsal often so that you are in a constant feeling of joy and excitement for your visualizations.
Create Triggers for Your Subconscious Mind
Motivate, motivate motivate.
What is going to trigger you to continue to visualize your life? What is the fuel behind visualization? You may see your current life and realize that you have got to get out of this situation immediately, and everything negative you see is a motivation. Use little things in your life to start the visualization. Maybe you don't meditate in the morning or want to visualize more than once per day. If you have a constant in your life, like walking past a certain bus stop or talking to your boss, make that the trigger visual. Every time you see this catalyst, take the time to visualize your goal in this moment.
Visualize as often as possible. Visualize so much that it's not even a question if this is what you want or if this is going to happen. Your life is what you are seeing in your mind. Practice visualization often with these triggers.
Visualization can be triggered by others by means of encouragement and reminders to focus on the goal.
Convert Your Desires Into Beliefs
What do you want? Name everything that you want out of life. Picture it and see it in your mind, then believe it. Converting a desire into a belief may seem uncomfortable at first, but the key to believing is faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God and how do you think this visualization will ultimately come to pass? (Hebrews 11:6). You may not have a plan for how you will accomplish what you want. You may think, 'How will I afford a house in this market?' The beauty of believing is that it’s not your job to figure out how your dream life will happen. It is your job to believe it will be done.
When I was having issues believing a desire, I thought about the things I already knew to be true. I knew that my car at the time was a gray Toyota, and made this a statement.
"Just like I know that my car is a Toyota, is how I know I will get this job."
I knew that my dream was a certainty. Stating facts about my current life helped me to believe.
Doubt and worry are not of God, and the best way to maintain your belief is to worship before you worry. I have learned that anxiety sneaks up to counteract what you believe to make you doubt and worry. The moment when you start feeling the twinge of worry, worship God. Refer to Psalms 118 as a worship if you are unsure of how to start and it will completely change your mindset.
