You never want to do anything too early or too late. Timing is so perfect when following your dreams and when aligning yourself to what you really want to do. We have all heard of someone who has accomplished their dream. It's evident in television and music from people who grew up with a passion in their hearts that they simply had to follow. When you are identifying a dream, you have to ask yourself some serious questions:
Why do I feel the need to follow this dream?
Is this a dream that I am willing to make sacrifices for?
What would change if I followed this dream?
What would happen if I left this dream alone?
Should I follow my dream?
These questions seem like they have obvious answers however, the properties of these questions challenge internalized doubt. Depending on the dream you have, there may be a lot that you have to give up. You may have to push yourself past your comfort zone or change some coping mechanisms you possess that have kept you where you are. These realizations aren't to make Following your Dreams technical, but to simply prepare you for the journey ahead. If you are reading this blog post, it's probably because you're on the verge of making that aligning shift in your life. Once you have identified this dream, that shift is the next step to help you on your path. The following three ways will guide you to know when it is time to make that change.
Hearing Your Dreams In Everyday Conversation
Following Your Dream means that you are following your Personal Legend, as referred to by The Alchemist. A great way to manifest something into your life is by acting as if it is already happening. Using affirming connotations toward your dreams in everyday conversation is what attracts opportunities to you. Speaking about your dream as if it's already a reality tells God that you are already aligned with this desire. You are ready to receive the direction to follow in making this big change.
This concept has reigned true in my personal life as I have always wanted to go to France. Part of my daily affirmations included having a great friend group in France. Even though I didn't know a single person there, I just knew that I would have great friends there. I would talk about going to France to my friends and peers as if it were irrefutable. Though I had no clear path to get there, I was going to make it happen with everything in me. I mentioned this to one of my close friends and he called me to introduce me to a friend he knew in France. We hit it off immediately and became very close friends. Now I have a ticket to Paris and a best friend to explore with once I get there.
This is one aspect of taking control of your Dream being brought up in conversation. Another aspect is hearing your Dreams in conversation by chance. This is also part of the positive signs that will be discussed in the next point.
The Alchemist is a book that has changed the course of my entire life. This book has so many lessons that apply to following your dreams and the process of manifestation. Acknowledging A Change of Heart in your Current Routine
One key way to know that God is pushing you towards Following Your dreams is by changing your current situation. Maybe your stomach starts turning into knots when you go to work. This physical or mental change towards your current routines are ways to let you know that it’s time to make a change. Identifying Your Dream means that you have made a wave in your physical realm. Things are now aligning to guide you towards this goal which can show up in many ways. If you don’t take time to be present or speak with God, these changes can often be chalked up to simple irritation or something that will pass.
This is not to say that you should completely change everything around in your life if you are having a bad day. This kind of recognition comes with being present in your surroundings, in your mind, and in your relationship with God. When routine starts to lose its purpose, this is the time to start acknowledging why. You may not always know the purpose of certain events like losing your computer on the day of an important presentation or having to be late to work because you forgot something at home. If you ask for a sign, you will always receive one and if you are receptive, you will learn that these mishaps aren’t to punish you but to guide you.

Positive Signals that Reassure Your Dreams
Positive Signs can be up to your discretion. When God shows you a positive sign, you have to be open to receiving it. Constant meditation and a relationship with God help bring awareness to these signs that lead you toward Your Dream. Some of these positive examples include:
Hearing your Dreams in conversation- As mentioned in the previous point, when you are not the catalyst for bringing up your dream, it will bring itself to you. You may be encouraged by a complete stranger or you may overhear it in a conversation nearby. You are a magnet to your dream and these small conversations are signs that it is time for you to make the Big Change
Asking God for a Sign- When you ask God for a specific sign then he can speak to you in many ways. A prophetess known as Tiphani, asked God if He was trying to tell her to go to a specific country at the time. She asked for a sign and for weeks she kept seeing license plates that said Fly. She saw almost a hundred license plates that said Fly in a period and took pictures of them. You can only be receptive to these signs if you are sensitive to what God is telling you and take the time to meditate.
Saying Yes to Opportunities- If your dream is to travel the world, you must understand that the baseline of this dream is travel and freedom. There may be an opportunity to travel to another state with an old friend. This, of course, may not be the exact answer to your desire but the core of this lesson is showing God that you are open and available to the opportunity when it presents itself. Dreams will always unravel in ways we never expected and if it doesn’t happen as you thought, do not overlook it.
When you are experiencing more and more of these positive signs, you may need to evaluate your current situation and begin the alignment with Your Dream. This is not always an easy task and this is not to say that it will feel comfortable the entire way there. This is to say that the outcome of following your dream connects you closer to your truest self and the world around you.

Following Your Dream connects you closer to who you are supposed to be and it takes courage to change.
